Acceptable Usage Policy

Spamming — the sending of unsolicited bulk and/or commercial email — is strictly prohibited. Email of a similar nature may not be sent to more than 250 recipients, whether in a single batch, in multiple batches, or from multiple accounts.

Bulk mailing, newsletters, and mailing-list operation are not permitted on shared hosting or email plans. Maintaining an open SMTP relay, sending mail with forged headers, or harvesting email addresses is prohibited.

Violation of this clause may result in immediate suspension or termination without notice or refund, and a clean-up / penalty charge may be levied at our discretion.

You must be at least 18 years of age, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, to subscribe to or use our services. By using our services you represent that you meet this requirement.

You may not use our services to store, host, or distribute any material that infringes the copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, or other intellectual property right of any third party, nor any material that violates the privacy or publicity rights of others. Pirated software, cracks, serial numbers, and similar material are prohibited.

Our services may not be used for any unlawful, fraudulent, or criminal purpose, nor to store or transmit any material that is unlawful under any applicable Indian or international law or regulation. This includes, without limitation, fraud, money laundering, phishing, distribution of malware, and the promotion of illegal activities.

Hosting of pornographic, obscene, or sexually explicit material is not permitted on our servers. Child sexual abuse material of any kind is absolutely prohibited and will be reported to the relevant authorities. Material that promotes hatred, violence, or discrimination is likewise prohibited.

You may not use a disproportionate or excessive amount of shared server resources (CPU, memory, processes, disk I/O, or network) in a manner that adversely affects other customers on the same server. Resource-heavy processes, long-running scripts, crypto-mining, and similar activities are prohibited on shared hosting.

We reserve the right to suspend, throttle, or terminate any account, or to require an upgrade to a VPS or dedicated server, where usage adversely impacts server stability or other customers.

Any attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems, networks, accounts, or data — whether belonging to Economicalhost.com or any third party — is strictly prohibited. This includes port scanning, security probing, denial-of-service attacks, distribution of viruses or malicious code, and any activity that compromises network security. Such activity may be reported to law-enforcement authorities.

The client is solely responsible for the security of their account credentials, applications, scripts, and data. You are responsible for keeping your software, CMS, plugins, and themes up to date and secure.

All data stored, transmitted, or hosted is at the client's sole risk. Economicalhost.com is not a data custodian and accepts no responsibility for the loss, corruption, or inaccessibility of any data. Please refer to our Terms of Service for the full data disclaimer.

Where courtesy backups are provided, they are offered strictly on a best-effort basis with no guarantee of frequency, completeness, or successful restoration. Restoration from courtesy backups, where possible, may be chargeable. Clients must maintain their own independent, regular backups of all data at all times. Email mailbox space is working space, not archival storage — mail should be downloaded to your own computer via POP regularly (every 7–14 days).

IP addresses assigned to your account remain the property of Economicalhost.com (or its upstream providers) and are non-transferable. They are assigned for the duration of your service and may be changed where operationally necessary. Customers do not acquire any ownership rights in assigned IP addresses.

Domain registrations and renewals are the responsibility of the client. While we endeavour to send renewal reminders, we are not liable for any failure to renew, for expiry of a domain, or for loss of a domain due to non-payment or non-receipt of reminders. It is the client's responsibility to ensure domains are renewed on time and that contact details are kept current.

All invoices are payable in advance and are due immediately upon receipt. Services are activated or continued only against cleared payment. 18% GST is applicable on all invoices. Non-payment within the stated period may lead to suspension or termination of services as set out in our Terms of Service.

Each plan is subject to the storage, mailbox, website, database, and resource limits specified for that plan. Allocated space and "working space" figures denote operational capacity and are subject to fair-use. We reserve the right to request that you reduce usage, archive data, or upgrade your plan where limits are exceeded or where usage is inconsistent with normal website/business operation.

You are solely responsible for all content hosted on your account. Content must comply with all applicable laws and with this AUP. We reserve the right to remove, disable, or refuse to host any content that, in our sole judgement, violates this policy, exposes us to legal liability, or threatens the stability or reputation of our network — with or without notice.

Where a plan is described as offering "unlimited" disk space, bandwidth, or websites, this is subject to fair-use and to the normal operation of a website or business. "Unlimited" resources may not be used for file storage, backup, archiving, or media distribution unrelated to a normally operating website. We reserve the right to define and enforce fair-use, and to require an upgrade where usage is excessive or atypical.

Economicalhost.com shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, our services, including loss of data, profits, or business. Our total liability is limited as set out in our Terms of Service. Services are provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranty of any kind.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account, with or without notice, for any violation of this AUP or our Terms of Service, for non-payment, or where required to protect our network, other customers, or ourselves. Upon termination we may permanently delete all account data without further liability. No refund is payable for any account terminated for violation of this policy.

We are committed to providing professional and courteous support. Abusive, threatening, or harassing behaviour toward our staff — whether by email, ticket, phone, message, or any other channel — will not be tolerated and may result in immediate suspension or termination of services without refund.

Orders are processed upon receipt and confirmation of cleared payment. Provisioning timelines are indicative and provided on a best-effort basis. We reserve the right to refuse, cancel, or delay any order at our discretion, including where fraud is suspected or where the order conflicts with this policy. Orders placed after business hours may be processed on the next business day.

This policy and all services are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with our services shall be subject to binding arbitration seated in New Delhi, India, as set out in our Terms of Service, and to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Delhi, India for any matters not subject to arbitration.
